CADENAS Newsletter
Q4 | 2021

Dear Sir or Madame,

Good news for electrical engineers & component manufacturers: SOLIDWORKS® Electrical 3D now offers direct access to thousands of digital manufacturer catalogs by CADENAS. The integration of 3D CAD & CAE models improves collaboration between MCAD and ECAD.

In case you missed it: We have a winner of the Engineering Newcomer 2021! Christian Rieger won first place with his High-Temperature 3D Printer. Second place went to the project Automated Pellet Smoker, followed by a Twist-in Device for Tree Protection in third place.

Did you notice our Christmas-themed header image? Children of CADENAS employees got creative and modelled hundreds of figurines out of clay as part of our annual Christmas crafting. Thank you for always surprising us with your fun and inventive ideas!

We wish you happy, relaxing holidays and all the best for 2022! ️🎄🕯️🎉

How a visual overview helps you to easily find the right component
Tipp

Do you need a visual overview of a certain product group? Try out the Cloud Map mode in PARTsolutions. This function puts geometrically similar components together. Parts that are more alike are closer to each other than those less similar. This helps you to quickly find the right component for your CAD construction.
